  • How to Use: Take with or without food 
  • Common Side Effects: Nausea, headache, metallic taste 
  • Contraindications: Alcohol use during and 3 days after therapy, hypersensitivity to metronidazole, severe hepatic impairment 
  • Alternative: Clindamycin
